Ruby Braff (1927–2003)
Trumpet and cornet player. Modeled playing after Louis Armstrong. Played with Edmond Hall Orchestra at Savoy Cafe in Boston before becoming in-demand player in New York. Large discography as leader, orchestra member, and sideman.
