Al (Albert Thornton) Grey (1925–2000)
American trombonist and leader. Played with Benny Carter, Jimmie Lunceford, Lionel Hampton, Jimmy Forrest, and Curtis Fuller. He also was a member of the Jazz at the Philharmonic and Basie Orchestra. Additionally, Grey performed on multiple film soundtracks.
