Walter Maynard Ferguson (1928–2006)
Canadian jazz trombonist and bandleader. Performed with Stan Kenton’s orchestra before forming his own. Frequent studio musician for film soundtracks. He was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1997.
